BRISTOL, R.I. -- McKenna Everding and Kaelin Hogan combined for 10 goals to power the Roger Williams University women's lacrosse team to an 18-3 victory over the University of New England in a Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship semifinal-round game Wednesday afternoon (May 3) at Bayside Field.
The second-seeded Hawks will take a 13-3 record into Saturday's title contest at top-seeded Endicott College, which cruised to the final with a 12-5 win over Gordon College. The Nor'easters end their season with a 10-8 ledger.
Everding notched six goals to lead all players, while Hogan added four to go with three assists. Carly Martin was strong in a supporting role with three markers.

Megan O'Grady each scored once to account for UNE's total.
Everding and Hogan tallied three goals apiece in the first half to help the Hawks build a 10-2 cushion heading into halftime. Roger Williams would dash any hopes of a UNE comeback by scoring the initial four goals of the second frame to push the lead to 14-2.
The Hawks had the better part of the stat sheet on the afternoon, topping UNE in shots (41-14), ground balls (24-14) and draw controls (14-8).
Kimberly Bolk earned the win in goal with five saves, while
Maritza Nary had 11 for UNE.
