PLYMOUTH, N.H. -- The University of New England and Plymouth State University skated to a 1-1 overtime tie in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) women's action Saturday afternoon (Nov. 4) at Hanaway Rink.

The Nor'easters post a 1-0-1 ledger in the opening weekend of league games, while the Panthers move to 1-1-1 on the young season (1-0-1 NEHC).

Julianne Sheehan put UNE in front 6:48 into the contest with an unassisted tally. Just past the midway mark of the 2nd, PSU drew back level on a short-handed goal by Taylor Jackson.

Both goalies -- Caty Flagg for the Nor'easters, and Emelie Lindqvist of the Panthers -- totaled 27 saves in the match.

UNE will be at home for the first time on Friday (7 p.m.) when Salve Regina University visits the Forum.
