BREWSTER, Mass. -- The University of New England men's golf squad followed up its 345 from Round 1 with 335 in Round 2 as the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship concluded Monday (Oct. 23) at The Captains Course (Starboard Course).

Husson University extended its overnight lead of five into a win by 11 strokes, posting 586 (298-288) to top nearest challenger Rhode Island College and the rest of the 19-team Division III field. The Eagles' Daulton Wickenden bested the 94-player individual competition with a 2-under-par 142 (69-73), one in front of RIC's Austin Cilley (75-68).

UNE's two-day total of 680 consisted of 162 (84-78) from Dylan Andrews, 167 (81-86) out of Michael Rich, 174 (84-90) by Hunter Drew, and 177 (96-81) from Garrett Krisko.
