HARRISVILLE, R.I. -- The University of New England received goals from five different players on its way to a 5-1 win over Nichols College in a New England Hockey Conference game played Friday evening (Nov. 18) at Levy Rink.
The win improves the Nor'easters' mark to 2-4-1 while leveling their league record at 2-2-1. Nichols is winless in six games and 0-4 in NEHC action.

Annie Mullen and
Melissa Boudreau scored first-period goals to give UNE a 2-0 lead. Mullen's was her team-leading third marker of the season, and Boudreau's came on the power play.Â
Gabby Crugnale struck at 13:57 of the second with the Nor'easters up a skater, and then
Abby Kinens made the score 4-0 with 1:24 remaining in the frame.
After Laura Christie got Nichols on the scoreboard early in the third, UNE'sÂ
Cassandra Connolly capped the scoring with her first goal of the year (16:53 of the period).
Sydney Helmbrecht totaled 21 saves in goal to record the victory for the Nor'easters, who led 46-22 in shots. Her counterpart, Lindsay O'Connell, had 41 for the Bison.
The Nor'easters have one game remaining before the Thanksgiving holiday. They will host Salem State University on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
