BOSTON, Mass. -- Three individual wins apiece from Miriam Swisher and Kerry Fleming powered Simmons College to a 212-68 decision against the University of New England women's swimming team on Saturday (Nov. 21).

The Sharks (4-1) also received a pair of first-place efforts from both Natalie Giraldi and Laura Simpson, with one more coming from Michaela Morris.

Lindsey Thomsen secured the lone top finish for the Nor'easters (3-2), taking the 50-butterfly in 28.23, just 0.21 seconds ahead of Morris. Thomsen was also runner-up to Swisher in the 50-freestyle (25.37) by 0.05, and to Fleming in the 100-individual medley (1:05.40) by 0.86 seconds.

UNE got a second-place showing from Kayla Burgess in the 100-butterfly (1:03.94) and two out of Emily Chamberlain in the 500-freestyle (5:44.99) and 1,650-freestyle (19:32.53).

The Nor'easters will enjoy two weeks off before attending the Colby-Sawyer College Invitational on December 5.
