KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine -- With weather forcing an early conclusion to the day, the University of New England men's golf team wound up in a tie for third at the UNE Invitational on Friday (Oct. 9) at Cape Arundel Golf Club.

Saint Joseph's College received the low individual round (35) on the par-35 front nine from Cam Letourneau, and topped the field with a score of 151. Endicott College came in next with 154, with the University of Southern Maine and the Nor'easters rounding out the group at 159.

Sam Kinasewich paced UNE with the second-lowest total of the competition (36), and Paul Butkevich added 38. Mike Rich and Garrett Krisko wrapped up the Big Blue number with scores of 41 and 44, respectively.

UNE will be in action Sunday (11 a.m.) for day one of the USM Fall Classic at Gorham Country Club.
