ResultsPhotosBRISTOL, R.I. -- The University of New England men's cross country team finished third out of nine entries at the 2015 Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship hosted by Roger Williams University at Colt State Park Saturday afternoon (Oct. 31).
Wentworth Institute of Techonology earned its first CCC title with a score of 47, followed by Roger Williams with 67, and UNE at 80.
CJ Vallie had another strong day for the Nor'easters, placing sixth overall with a time of 26:37 to earn All-Conference accolades. Vallie was also selected CCC Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Paul Mangiafico was close behind Vallie, finishing a spot back with a time of 26:43 to also garner All-Conference honors.
Peter LePage (12th, 27:01),
Ben Wright (25th, 28:21) and
Christian Leighton (30th, 28:31) rounded out the Nor'easters' group of scoring runners.

Damon Kilgore of Gordon College was the individual champion, topping the field by 35 seconds with a time of 25:49.
UNE will compete in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Championship next Saturday. That event is being hosted by Williams College at Mount Greylock High School in Williamstown, Mass.
