ResultsWILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The University of New England placed 23rd out of 54 entries at the 2014 NCAA Division III New England Regional Championship contested under cold conditions at Mount Greylock High School on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 15).
Colby College (63) edged Amherst College (69) to take the team title, while MIT finished third just a point behind Amherst. Colin Cotton of Williams was the individual champion, topping Spencer Wenck of MIT by five seconds to win with an eight-kilometer time of 25:10.
CJ Vallie completed his brilliant season as the first UNE runner to cross the line in all of the Nor'easters' events. Vallie placed 114th with a time of 27:37.

Paul Mangiafico (28:04) and
Chad Lyons (189th, 28:45) also scored for Big Blue.
