BRISTOL, R.I. -- Eight different swimmers captured events for Roger Williams University, which topped the University of New England by a score of 208-82 on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 18) at the Aquatics Center.

Shannon Earley, Hailey Martel, and Andrea Almandoz each won twice for the Hawks (4-2). In all, Roger Williams took 11 of the 12 individual races.

UNE (5-3) got its lone event win from junior Kelly Dolyak, who touched the wall first in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:39.88, besting Brittany Cuevas of the Hawks by 4.52 seconds.

Alexis Mone finished first in the closest competition of the day (50 backstroke), posting 32.00 to edge Big Blue senior Alex Gabriels by just 0.12 ticks.

The Nor'easters return to the pool Monday at Saint Joseph's College (Maine), before coming home next Saturday (1 p.m.) for a tri-meet with Colby-Sawyer College and Gordon College.
