WATERVILLE, Maine -- The seventh-ranked Colby College women's lacrosse team improved to 2-0 on the season with an 18-0 shutout of the University of New England in a non-conference game played Saturday (March 16) afternoon.
Lindsey McKenna scored three times to pace the Mules. Colby also received two goals each from Katharine Eddy, Dana Swaffield, Tess Petesch, Sara Miller and Abby Hatch.
The Mules, who had 28 players see action in the contest, held a 46-3 advantage in shots and 18-11 cushion in ground balls. They led 12-0 at the half, and had three goalkeepers share time in the cage, combining for one stop.

Courtney Kendall made 14 saves.
The Nor'easters (0-4) will look for their first win of the season Tuesday when they head to Keene State University for a 4 p.m. match.
