NEW LONDON, N.H. -- Krystyna Estrada and Elaine Miller each won three races to help guide Colby-Sawyer College to a 172-115 win over the University of New England women's swimming team on Saturday (Jan. 26) at the Knight Natatorium.

Erin Dunican and Emma Nagle also finished first in events to support the Chargers' (6-1) efforts. The hosts also earned 25 points in diving events where UNE did not compete.

Senior Rachel Hanley (Wiscasset, Maine), junior Jenn La Comfora (Worcester, Mass.), and first-year Sara DeAngelo (Hamilton, N.J.) each notched victories for UNE (6-3), as did the 200 freestyle relay squad of Sam Briggs (Oakland, Maine), Meaghan Arsenault (Methuen, Mass.), DeAngelo, and Hanley. Big Blue's bunch touched in 1:47.68, good enough for a 0.12-second margin over Colby-Sawyer.

Individually, Hanley claimed the 400 IM in 5:13.26, and was edged by Miller (0.36) in the 100 freestyle (58.99).

La Comfora topped the field in the 100 backstroke (1:06.41), besting Nagle by 0.38 seconds. In the 200 IM, La Comfora's time of 2:24.76 was just 0.18 seconds off the pace set by Estrada.

DeAngelo clocked a 1:06.01 in the 100 butterfly -- 0.13 ahead of Nagle.

Arsenault came in a close second in the 50 backstroke (31.96), as Miller (31.67) got her day started.

The Nor'easters head to Elms College next Saturday (Feb. 2) for their final dual meet of the season.
