MILTON, Mass. -- Curry College began the second half with seven straight goals to turn around a two-goal deficit en route to an 18-15 victory over the University of New England in The Commonwealth Coast Conference women's lacrosse action Tuesday evening at Walter M. Katz Field.

The Colonels up their record to 12-1 on the year, and stand at 7-1 in league outings. UNE drops to 4-9 overall, 3-6 in TCCC games.

Down 8-6 at the break, Curry scored three goals in 3:31 to regain the lead. After four minutes without any scoring, the hosts struck again with a spurt of four tallies in three minutes to push the margin to its highest (5) at 13-8.

The Nor'easters cut the difference down to three on four occasions in the final 19 minutes, but could not get any closer.
