Chad Lyons (West Rutland, Vt.), who had an 8K time of 29:30 to end up 10th individually, the University of New England men's cross country team finished third out of nine competing at the Saint Joseph's College (Maine) Invitational on Saturday. Johnson & Wales University won the event with a team score of 29.

Bosco Oringa (Portland, Maine) was the second UNE runner to cross the line, placing 13th with a time of 30:13. Senior
Jonathan Dupuis (Groveton, N.H.) also cracked the Top 20 with a 31:04 showing.

Ben McGinnis (Barnstead, N.H.) contributed to the Nor'easters' team score of 98, placing 31st and 34th, respectively.
Josh Grant of Lyndon State College ran away with the individual title, besting the field by 39 seconds.
The Nor'easters split their squad for the day with other members of the roster competing at Westfield State University.
