Nor'easters breeze by Regis to move to 7-1 in TCCC

WESTON, Mass. -- The University of New England scored 12 first-half goals en route to a 17-2 victory over Regis College in The Commonwealth Coast Conference women's lacrosse action Tuesday afternoon.

Junior Angel Jarmusz (Naperville, Ill.) led the Nor'easters (9-2, 7-1 TCCC) with four goals, while senior Kim Bilodeau (Durham, Maine) added three markers.

Senior Dani Wood (Scarborough, Maine) and sophomore Jenna Barton (Wolfeboro, N.H.) each chipped in with a pair of tallies for UNE, which had 10 different players find their way into the scoring column.

In goal, junior Tara Geraghty (Barrington, R.I.) posted a dozen saves to earn the win.

For the Pride (1-9, 0-7 TCCC), sophomore Teresa Crevier (Milford, Mass.) scored both of the team's goals during the final stanza. Junior goalkeeper Alycia Murray (Danvers, Mass.) made seven stops.

UNE travels to Roger Williams University Saturday for a key conference match beginning at 3:30 p.m. Regis visits league-leader Endicott College the same day.
