BRISTOL, R.I. -- For the sixth consecutive year, the Williams College Ephs won the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Men's Cross Country Championship race, finishing with a total of 94 to edge the nearest competition by 29 points Saturday at Colt State Park.
Middlebury College (123), Johnson & Wales University (142), Tufts University (149), and Bates College (153) rounded out the top five in the 44-team field.
Franciscan University's Bill Jones was the individual champion, clocking an 8-kilometer time of 25:55 to win by 13 seconds. J&W runners placed second, third, and fourth -- all three crossing the line within two seconds of each other.

Brandon Mulligan (Westfield, Mass.) paced Big Blue, coming in 48th out of the 300 individuals with a time of 27:33. Classmate Daniel Raboin (Lunenberg, Mass.) had a time of 28:31 to take the 112th spot. Junior
Jonathan Dupuis (Groveton, N.H.), first-year Nathan DiMartino (Hilton, N.Y.), and junior
Bosco Oringa (Portland, Maine) also factored in the scoring for UNE, which finished 20th with a score of 620.
The Nor'easters conclude their season next Saturday (November 13) at the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championship, which will be held in Williamstown, Mass.
