WORCESTER, Mass. -- With four scores in the 70's, Nichols College posted a total of 313 to win the 2010 The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Invitational, held Thursday in the cold wind and rain at Green Hill Golf Course. Endicott College finished five strokes back in second with a score of 318.
The Bison modeled consistency with their lineup, combining rounds of 78, 78, 78, and 79 to reach their final score -- leaving out a score of 80.
The University of New England and Western New England College tied for third at 322. Anna Maria College (329), Roger Williams University (364), and Wentworth Institute of Technology (371) rounded out the seven-team field.
WNEC first-year Pat Donahue (Southington, Conn.) claimed the medalist honors on the par 72 layout, firing a four-over 76. UNE senior
Griffin Andrews (Rye, N.H.) was the individual runner-up with a season-best 77.
