Laura Egounis (Boscawen, N.H.), the University of New England picked up a 2-0 The Commonwealth Coast Conference victory over Anna Maria College in field hockey action Saturday morning at AMCAT Field.
The win was the third straight in conference matches for the Nor'easters (5-4, 3-1 TCCC), who defeated Anna Maria for the fifth consecutive time. The Amcats dropped their eighth contest in-a-row, and now sit at 1-9 overall (0-4 TCCC).

UNE took the 1-0 lead into halftime, despite out-shooting its opponent by a margin of 11-0.

Both squads are on the road Wednesday. The Nor'easters visit Endicott College (4 p.m.), while the Amcats travel to New England College (6:30 p.m.).
