Meet Results

NORTHFIELD, Vt. -- Less than 24 hours after returning from the Sunshine State, the University of New England women's swim team split a tri-meet with Bates College and host Norwich University on Saturday afternoon.  UNE defeated Norwich, 94-24, but fell to Bates by a score of 101-37.

First-year Lizzie Wareham continued her string of strong performances for UNE, winning a pair of events.  Wareham claimed victory in the 50-yard free (26.06) and the 50-yard fly (28.65). 

Senior Ali Wagner took UNE's only other win of the afternoon with a victory in the 100-yard butterfly.  She swam 1:03.56 to take that event.

The Nor'easters arrived home from their trip to Florida late Friday evening before boarding a bus early Saturday morning for the four-hour drive to Norwich.  They will have little rest before their next meet once again -- they host Saint Joseph's College on Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m.
