Team and Individual Scores

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine -- The University of New England golf team placed fifth out of nine teams at the University of Southern Maine Fall Classic on Monday at Sable Oaks Golf Course.

Husson University took team honors with an aggregate score of 301.  Endicott College (308), Castleton State College (313) and Southern Maine "Blue" (318) also bested the Nor'easters' score of 329.

Sean Caddigan led the way for UNE, matched his career best with a round of 77.  Shawn Pabst (82), Cory Guenette (83), and Nathan Fairfield (87) also scored for the Nor'easters.

Husson's Chris Hamel was awarded medalist honors on a match of cards.  He matched Castleton State's Eric Slosek with a 73.

UNE will take to the links again Wednesday at the Thomas College Invitational to be held at Boothbay Country Club.
