Nathan Fairfield shot 82 to tie for UNE's best score at the John Queenan Memorial

CASCO, Maine -- The University of New England Nor'easters tied for fourth Tuesday at the John Queenan Memorial Tournament hosted by St. Joseph's College at Point Sebago Golf Course.
UNE posted a score of 334 to share the fourth spot with the University of Maine Farmington. Husson College totaled 299 to win the seven-team event.
The Nor'easters were led by Nathan Fairfield and Shawn Pabst, who both carded a score of 82. Sean Caddigan shot 84, Matt Gamache 86, and Anthony Guarini 94.
Chris Hamel of Husson shot two-over 74 to earn medalist honors.
UNE returns to play Sunday and Monday at the University of Southern Maine Fall Classic. Sunday's round starts at 10:00 a.m.
