Guarini's hole-in-one a highlight

Senior Anthony Guarini found lightning in a bottle when he aced the 184-yard 7th hole
VASSALBORO, Maine -- University of New England senior Anthony Guarini recorded a hole-in-one Saturday during the final round of the 2008 Maine Intercollegiate Golf Championship held at Natanis Golf Course.

Guarini used a 6-iron to ace the 184-yard seventh hole.  He went on to card a round of 90, shaving a stroke of his previous day total of 91.

The Nor'easters totaled a two-day aggregate score of 709 to place seventh among 12 teams.  Husson College (625) took a 13-stroke victory over Bowdoin College.

Cory Guenette was UNE's low player at the championship, posting a two-day total of 174 (87-87).  Sean Caddigan (88-88--176), Shawn Pabst (91-87--178) and Mike Zemrak (92-89--181) rounded out the lineup for the Nor'easters.
