Greyhounds sprint away in second half for 14-6 win

UNE was outscored 10-3 in the second half after trailing by just one (4-3) at intermission

Moravian College outscores the Nor'easters 10-3 after halftime to win its second straight match

SANFORD, Fla. -- Attack Jason Tosches '09 (West Windsor, N.J.) scored six times, and the Moravian College Greyhounds scored 10 second-half goals on their way to a 14-6 victory over the University of New England Sunday afternoon at Sylvan Lake Park.

The Nor'easters would keep it close early, trailing 2-1 after one period and 4-3 at the half.  The Greyhounds went on to score five goals in both the third and fourth periods to win going away.

Rob Devine '10 (Mountain Lakes, N.J.) added three goals for the winners, while Keith Danner '09 (Laurys Station, Pa.) chipped in a pair and one assist.

Luke DiFiore '11 (Gloucester, Mass.) was the lone repeat scorer for the Nor'easters with a pair of goals.  Jon Ebert '08 (Auburn, N.H.) and Chad DeLuca '11 (Mashpee, Mass.) each added a goal and an assist.  The tandem of Dan Leyden '08 (Northfield, Mass.) and Mike Sagaert '10 (Colorado Springs, Colo.) scopped up 13 ground balls.

Moravian goalie Ben Leavy '11 (Moorstown, N.J.) stopped 16 shots to earn the victory.  His counterpart, Andy Briggs '09 (Scituate, R.I.), made 14 stops for UNE.

The Nor'easters will conclude their brief road trip Tuesday (March 11) when they play Sunshine State opponent Rollins College at noon in Winterpark.
