Webb raps out three hits in 9-4 victory

COCOA BEACH, Fla. -- Lauren Webb had three hits as part of the University of New England's 12-hit attack in the Nor'easters' 9-4 softball win over the New England College in game one of a non-league doubleheader between the two The Commonwealth Coast Conference teams.

Leading 3-2, the Nor'easters would break the game open by scoring five runs in the top of the fifth.  Webb had a two-run double for her third hit and third and fourth RBI of the afternoon. 

Lisa Baillargeon and Stephanie Podolski each had a pair of hits for the Nor'easters.  First-year pitcher Amber Zablowsky went the distance to earn the win.  She walked just one and struck out two while scattering six hits.

Jessica Chisholm and Amanda Lester had two singles apiece for the Pilgrims.
