PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Midfielder Casey Sanborn '09 (Fayetteville, N.C.) scored five goals to lead  Haverford College of Pennsylvania to a 13-9 women's lacrosse victory over the University of New England Tuesday evening in the Nor'easters' season-opener.

Lauren Finkel '09 (Silver Spring, Md.) and Kayleigh Herrick-Reynolds '11 (Chevy Chase, Md.) tallied three goals apiece to help support in the victory for the Fords, who evened their record at 1-1. 

Carlie Brigham '09 (Derry, N.H.) and Ashley MacDonald '08 (Billerica, Mass.) each scored three goals for UNE, while Amanda Barker '09 (Gloucester, Mass.) added a goal and two assists.

Tara Geraghty '11 (Barrington, R.I.) made 12 saves for the Nor'easters, who return to action Thursday (March 13) when they take on Alfred University in a 5:00 p.m. start.
