BIDDEFORD, Maine -- The University of New England swim team upped its record to 3-0 with a 170-35 victory over Husson University on Saturday afternoon at the Campus Center.

The Nor'easters enjoyed a balanced effort, with no swimmers earning multiple individual victories despite the fact that UNE won all nine individual races and both relays.

Seniors Erica Johnson (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) and Ali Wagner (Monrovia, Calif.) and first-years Allie Travnik (New Lenox, Ill.) and Lizzie Wareham (Osterville, Mass.) each earned individual victories and were part of winning relay entries.  First-year Hannah Lipomi (Enfield, Conn.) swam a leg of the Nor'easters' victorious 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard freestyle relay teams.

Also picking up wins were juniors Alison Leopard (Bloomington, Ill.) and Morgan Lawless (Kirkville, N.Y.) and first-years Sara Shea (Peabody, Mass.) and Lauren Stephenson (Housatonic, Mass.).

The Nor'easters will have a tough test on Tuesday when they head to Waterville to take on Colby College in a 6:00 p.m. start. Husson is idle until the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship on Dec. 6-7.
