BRISTOL, R.I. -- Despite three individual wins by Ali Wagner '09 (Monrovia, Calif.), the University of New England Nor'easters suffered their third loss of the season by dropping a 140-117 decision to The Commonwealth Coast Conference rival Roger Williams University on Saturday afternoon.

Wagner took first-place honors in the 50-yard butterfly, 200-yard butterfly and 50-yard individual medley.  Erica Johnson '09 (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) contributed a pair of wins, besting the other competitors in the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard free.  Alison Leopard '10 (Bloomington, Ill.) picked up a win in the 200-yard backstroke. 

Wagner, Johnson, Leopard and Devan Gilman '11 (Rochester, N.H.) teamed together to garner a victory in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

The Nor'easters will be idle for nearly two weeks.  They return to the pool Feb. 8 when they host Assumption College at the Campus Center (7:30 p.m.)
