Host Hawks Fly by Nor'easters in Decisive Fifth Game

BRISTOL, R.I. -- Roger Williams University came away with the fifth and deciding game, 15-9, to take a 3-2 victory over the University of New England in a morning match at the Roger Williams Volleyball Invitational.

Alex Toregas '08 (Chevy Chase, Md.) led the visiting Nor'easters with 15 kills and four blocks, while Claire Varner '10 (Breckenridge, Mich.) contributed nine kills.  Ellen Choinski '10 (Saunderstown, R.I.) played a solid all-around match, finishing with six digs, three kills and three service aces.  Setter Alissa Ehmke '08 (Baileys Harbor, Wisc.) was credited with 23 assists.
