CASCO, Maine - Husson College posted an impressive team score of 296 to capture the John Queenan Memorial Golf Tournament hosted by Saint Joseph's College at Point Sebago Golf Course on Tuesday.
The Eagles topped the host Monks by a margin of 14 strokes to earn tourney hardware. University of Southern Maine (321), Thomas (329), UMaine Farmington (338) and University of New England (342) rounded out the field.
Shawn Pabst '09 (Franklin, N.H.) a season-low 80 to pace the Nor'easters, who host their own invitational Thursday morning at Cape Arundel Golf Course. Tom Button '08 (Lyndeborough, N.H.) supported with an 82.
Brent Profenno of Southern Maine shot 71 to take home medalist honors.
