BELGRADE, Maine -- The University of New England golf team placed seventh out of eight teams Sunday afternoon at the University of Maine Farmington Invitational held at picturesque Belgrade Lakes Country Club.
Fresh of their victory at the Maine Intercollegiate Championship, the Husson College Eagles took team honors with a score of 321.
UMaine Farmington's Brandon Poulin carded an 8-over-par 79 to claim medalist honors. He tied with two other players, but won the individual honor by a match of cards.
UNE totaled 358, with Shawn Pabst '09 (Franklin, N.H.) firing an 84 to lead the Nor'easters, who return to play next Saturday at Colby College's Sid Farr Invitational.
