Nor'easters Place 8th at USM Invitational

Led by Adam Duplisea, Husson takes tourney title

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine -- On the strength of a two-over-par 73 by Adam Duplisea, the Husson College Eagles won the University of Southern Maine Invitational held at Sable Oaks Golf Course on Monday afternoon.

The Eagles posted a team score of 306 to best second-place Castleton State College by 11 strokes.  The University of New England Nor'easters finished eighth with an aggregate score of 342.

Tom Button '08 (Lyndeborough, N.H.) and Mike Zemrak '09 (Winslow, Maine) each carded an 82 to lead the Nor'easters, who return to action Friday for the University of Southern Maine Cup once again held at Sable Oaks.
