BEVERLY, Mass. -- Endicott College dominated the University of New England in game one (30-10), then sqeaked by in games two and three (30-25, 30-28) to win 3-0 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference volleyball action on Saturday.

With the win, the Gulls took over sole possession of first place in the TCCC at 8-1 (22-10 overall).  The Nor'easters fell into a tie for second at 7-2 in the conference (11-11 overall).  Both teams entered the match tied at the top of the confererence standings.

Alissa Ehmke '08 (Baileys Harbor, Wisc.) set up the attack for UNE with 25 assists, and Ellen Choinski '10 (Saunderstown, R.I.) had a team-leading seven kills.  Josie Raphaelito '09 (Pine Hill, N.M.) chipped in with three services aces, and Claire Varner '10 (Breckenridge, Mich.) had 14 digs.
