This is the Nor'easters' first appearance in the TCCC championship game...NEC has appeared in 12 title games, winning 10 times...UNE is the defending ECAC New England champion...in the latest NCAA statistical ranking, the Nor'easters were seventh in penalty corners per game (13.94) and 24th in goals per game (3.53)...the Pilgrims were fourth in defensive saves (23), 18th in save percentage (.823), and 32nd in goals per game (3.00)...UNE's Franey was ranked 10th in points per game (3.06)...NEC's Ayotte was 17th in goal per game (1.16)...Big Blue advanced to the title game by virtue of its 2-1 win at Nichols on Wednesday...Tupper scoring the game-winner, while Egounis had a goal and a defensive save...the Pilgrims scored three times during a six-minute span in the second half to rally for a 3-1 victory over Western New England...Franey is two goals shy of UNE's single-season record (
