Doug Biggs

A graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, Doug has guided the women's soccer team for 19 seasons.  He has enjoyed tremendous success overseeing the program, compiling a 165-126-17 record.  The 2008 season was one of his most successful at the helm of the women's program, as the Nor'easters posted a 15-6 record and made it to the championship game of the ECAC New England Tournament.  For his efforts, he was named The Commonwealth Coast Conference Coach of the Year.

Doug has led UNE to three post-season titles, including the 2000 Commonwealth Coast Conference title, which put the Nor'easters into the NCAA III Women's Soccer Tournament. Prior to his tenure at the University, he was the head men’s soccer coach at the University of Maine, an assistant soccer coach at Southern Connecticut State University, and a soccer coach at Cape Elizabeth High School.  He has served as coaching director of Maine’s Olympic Development Program (ODP) and has coached club teams at all levels, including his widely-respected Odyssey Sports.
