University Of New England Athletics: Setting the Standard of Excellence
By becoming a member of the Varsity Club you join many alumni, staff, parents and friends who recognize the need to support the efforts of University of New England in providing a balanced athletic program. It is the goal of the Varsity Club to assist the administration, the coaching staff and all of our student-athletes in striving for excellence in athletics and academics. The Varsity Club Committee welcomes assistance from all fans that believe in the well being of our student-athletes.
The Varsity Club’s Mission
The Varsity Club recognizes the unique challenges associated with being a student-athlete and seeks to furnish students with encouragement and to:

Recognize the accomplishments of UNE athletes. |

Help offset special Athletic Department costs (e.g. athletic training equipment, trophy cases, banners and awards). |

Provide renovations and upgrade existing facilities. |

Sponsor the creation of a Hall of Fame (selection process, induction ceremony and banquet). |

Provide athletic schedules and preseason updates to the community. |

Serve as ambassadors for Nor’easter athletic programs to the UNE community, prospective student-athletes and their parents. |
