2013: was the starting goalkeeper in 16 of the Nor'easters' 18 matches... posted four shutouts while registering a 1.06 goals against average and .877 save percentage... earned his second consecutive first team all-conference selection and was also voted second team all-New England (ECAC)... had a stretch of four consecutive games when he recorded double digits in saves.

2012: played every minute of the team’s 17-game season… posted a 1.31 goals against average and .841 save percentage… recorded nine saves in a 2-0 victory over eventual CCC champs Salve Regina… finished second overall in the CCC in the saves category with 122… was three-time CCC Defensive Player of the Week and one-time ECAC Defensive Player of the week… all-academic honoree… received 1st team CCC accolades... UNE Male Athlete of the Year.

2011: saw goalkeeping duties in 11 of the team's 15 matches... posted a 1.90 goals against average and .773 save percentage... had five saves in a 4-0 shutout of Curry... was a two-time CCC Rookie of the Week and one-time CCC Defensive Player of the Week selection.

Prior to UNE: was a three-time regional champion and two-time Eastern Ontario finalist... earned two MVP awards in tennis... selected to Eastern All-Stars... named Most Improved Player in football his senior season... was a two-time regional all-star selection for basketball... was an Ottawa Fury U-14 MVP.

Personal: is the son of Ann and Jim McParland... majoring in medical biology... performed research at the Ganter Institute Neurogenetics Lab... has volunteered at Maine Medical Center, Preble Street Resource Center and coaching soccer to inner city youth in Portland... a Dean's List student... founder and president of UNE's Genetics Society... is currently a student trustee ... played for GPS Portland Phoenix of the Premier Development League... was selected Junior Student of the Year... is a U-Lead Scholar and earned the Victoria Finnerty Drosophila Genetics Award (GSA)... is a two-time winner of UNE's Male Athlete of the Year Award.
