OSWEGO, N.Y. – Nick Altmann scored his second goal of the day early in the third period to lead #14 William College over #9 University of New England 2-1 in men's hockey action at the Pathfinder Bank/Oswego State Hockey Classic in Oswego, N.Y.
 
After a scoreless first period, Jeff Eppright put the Nor'easters on top with a power-play goal with 9:09 to play in the second. Tyler Seltenreich and Chris Jones assisted on the opening tally. Altmann answered for the Ephs with a power-play score in the final minute of the frame.
 
Altmann added the game-winner, his fourth of the season, 5:21 into the third period.
 
Cosimo Lazzarion made half of his 36 saves in the final period to earn the victory in net. Ben Churchfield had 22 stops for UNE.
 
The Nor'easters return to action tomorrow against #10 Oswego State or Saint Mary's (Minn.)
