SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- University of New England women's cross country athletes Jess Partlow (Hopkinton, N.H.) and Erin Flatley (Windham, Maine) have been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Runner of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively, for the period ending September 25. CCC Commissioner Gregg Kaye made the announcement this morning.

Partlow came away victorious from the Elms Invitational for the second time in her four-year career, topping the 141-runner field with a personal-best 5k time of 19:31. Flatley took seventh place at 20:21, helping the Nor'easters finish second in the 15-team field.

UNE has received both awards in the each of the three weeks it has raced in so far this season.
