BIDDEFORD, Maine -- University of New England men's head soccer coach Matt Gnall released the Nor'easters' 2010 roster this afternoon, while also naming seniors Cody Lapointe and Jason Lariviere team captains.

Lapointe and Lariviere will lead a group of 13 returnees and 13 newcomers into battle when the Nor'easters host Thomas College on Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. UNE is coming off its most successful season since 1997. Big Blue won 10 games in 2009 and nearly upset top-seeded Western New England College in the quarterfinal round of The Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship.
