BIDDEFORD, Maine -- University of New England first-year Anthony Coleman (Austin, Texas) has been chosen Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writers Association Rookie of the Week for the period ending Jan. 31.

A 6'5” freshman forward, Coleman averaged 11.3 points as the Nor'easters won all three of their contests, including a pair of conference road wins. Coleman gave UNE a victory over Regis when he hit an eight-foot bank shot at the buzzer. For the week, he shot 48.4 percent (15 of 31) from the floor and 38.5 percent (5 of 13) from beyond the arc.
