Rookie goaltender Dallas Ungurian was honored by the ECAC for his spectacular performance versus Plymouth State
BIDDEFORD, Maine -- Dallas Ungurian (Edmonton, Alberta) of the University of New England has been chosen ECAC East Goalie of the Week as released by the league office earlier today.
Ungurian made 41 saves against Plymouth State University -- including several key stops down the stretch -- help the Nor'easters pick up their first win as a varsity program with a 2-1 triumph on Saturday (Jan. 2).
Ungurian's 41 stops marked the third time this season he has registered at least 40 saves.
