Unfortunately, Mother Nature failed to cooperate with us June 12 for the First Annual Vaughn Twaddel Golf Classic. In an effort to show our appreciation for those individuals and businesses who pre-paid for the event, we have taken the following steps.
1. Each paid guest will receive one round of golf – with cart – at Nonesuch River Golf Course, to be used by the end of the 2009 playing season. You must call the pro shop (207-883-0007) to arrange a tee time. The course will be provided a list of those guests who qualify. Please mention you were scheduled to play in the UNE golf tournament.
2. Each paid guest may pick up their gift bag at the UNE Athletics Office.
3. Each paid guest will be entered into a drawing for the following items:
A) Two tickets to the August 29, 2009 Red Sox game vs. Toronto
B) A two-hour Portland Harbor cruise on Lost Shaker of Salt Cruises
C) A Cleveland golf bag
The winners of the drawing will be announced Thursday, June 18.
