BIDDEFORD, Maine -- For the third time in four seasons, the University of New England men's lacrosse team has won The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Team Sportsmanship Award.  The announcement was made late yesterday (April 29) by TCCC Commissioner Gregg Kaye.

The Nor'easters won a school-record six games during the 2009 season and qualified for their first-ever conference tournament berth.
