Gamache caps career with all-state accolades

Senior Alli Gamache finds herself amongst the program's leaders in numerous statistical categories
BIDDEFORD, Maine -- University of New England senior guard Alli Gamache (Dudley, Mass.) was chosen second team all-state by the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association.  The all-state teams and award winners were announced late yesterday (March 5).

Gamache averaged 12.3 points and 3.8 assists to lead the Nor'easters in each category.  She tied a school single-season record with 82 three-pointers while shooting 38 percent (82 of 216) from beyond the arc.

Gamache finished her career with 1,068 points and 233 three-point field goals, a figure that ranks her second all-time at UNE.  She also ranks fifth in career assists with 329.

The Nor'easters matched a school-record for wins (20) in a season while making it to the semifinals of The Commonwealth Coast Conference and qualifying for the ECAC New England Championship.
