BIDDEFORD, Maine -- University of New England men's lacrosse player Dan Leyden (Northfield, Mass.) has been selected The Commonwealth Coast Conference co-Player of the Week for the period ending March 22.  TCCC Publicity Coordinator Matt Pettinicchi made the announcement this afternoon (March 23).

Leyden, a senior attackman, tallied 14 goals and two assists in three wins for the Nor'easters.  Last Tuesday, he had four goals and two assists to surpass the 100-point mark for his career.  Leyden also tallied six goals in an 11-8 decision over Lasell and finished with four scores in a 7-5 victory at Salem State.

Leyden shared the award with Scott Kukis of Western New England College.
