Ted Fabian notched the first two-goal game of his career to help lead UNE to a 6-2 win

LEWISTON, Maine -- First-years Ted Fabian (Oakland, Maine) and Channing Tobey (Eliot, Maine) each scored a pair of goals to lead the University of New England Nor'easters to a 6-2 road win over Bates College on Saturday evening.
The Nor'easters led 2-1 after one period of play on goals by Fabian and Kyle MacLennan (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia). UNE took control in the second frame, notching the first three goals of the period to establish a 5-1 advantage. Fabian, Tobey and senior Jon Moriarty (Sandown, N.H.) found the cage for the visitors.
First-year goaltender Tony Dube (Biddeford, Maine) made 22 saves for UNE, which won its sixth straight contest to improve to 12-4-1.
The Nor'easters return to action Friday (Feb. 13) when they host the UMaine club team at 8:00 p.m.
