BIDDEFORD, Maine -- The University of New England women's volleyball team will be the fifth seed when The Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship begins Tuesday. TCCC Commissioner Gregg Kaye announced the pairings this evening.

The Nor'easters (6-4 TCCC) are headed to Bristol, R.I. for a match against No. 4 Roger Williams University (8-2 TCCC) at 7 p.m. The two teams met twice during the regular season, with the Hawks taking both -- a 3-1 decision Sept. 12 at the RWU Invitational, followed by a 3-0 sweep at home on Oct. 14.

UNE has reached the post season for the tenth consecutive year, after missing out on the playoffs in its first season as a member of the conference. Big Blue has reached the semifinals just once during that span, defeating Eastern Nazarene College in the opening contest back in 2006.

For the fourth straight season, Endicott College (9-1) enters the conference tournament as the top seed. The Gulls host No. 8 Regis College (2-8) in the first round.

The other quarterfinals feature second-seeded Western New England College (9-1) versus number seven Gordon College (4-6), and No. 6 Salve Regina University (5-5) at third-seeded Colby-Sawyer College (8-2).
