Veiga recorded a season-best time of 26:56 over the eight-kilometer loop to place behind individual champion Greg Redfield of Johnson and Wales, as well as Josh Porizky of Gordon.

UNE junior Josh Havelin contributed a Top 50 performance, crossing the line in 29:22 to finish 49th.

Other scoring individuals for the Nor'easters included junior Josh Grenier (58th - 29:39), classmate Dan Kelleher (59th - 29:40) and first-year Tim Denoncour (65th - 29:51).
