On the strength of his golden goal versus Roger Williams, Kevin Tarr was named TCCC Rookie of the Week
BIDDEFORD, Maine -- University of New England men's soccer player Kevin Tarr has been chosen The Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week for the period ending Oct. 25. TCCC Sports Information Coordinator Matt Pettinicchi made the announcement this afternoon.
Tarr, a first-year forward from Hermon, Maine, scored with less than two minutes remaining in double-overtime to give UNE a 3-2 victory over Roger Williams University, The win as the Nor'easters' first-ever over the Hawks, who at the time were in first place in the TCCC standings.
