LEWISTON, Maine -- Johnson and Wales University kept its winning way going at the Bates College Invitational, sweeping the University of New England Saturday afternoon with set scores of 25-11, 25-22, 25-15.

JWU upped its record to 17-14. The Nor'easters suffered their fourth consecutive loss to drop to 8-15.

Senior Ellen Choinski had three kills and 15 assists for the Nor'easters. First-year Lindsey Cashell had a team-best four kills, while classmate Kayla Sampson (Cumberland, Maine) paced the defense with 18 digs.

Junior Kristen Edwards was selected to the all-tournament team for the Nor'easters, who return to action Tuesday evening with a home contest versus St. Joseph's College (6 p.m.).
